1. Jack's Mannequin, as much as it pains me horribly to admit it. These pop/punk/emo songs brought to the world by Something Corporate's Andrew McMahon (cancer survivor) are too catchy to pass up on my iPod shuffle, although I am notorious for skipping over as many as 20 songs, just 'cause I feel like it. Whatever, it makes me feel good and gives me a bounce in my step.
2. My Big Fat Greek Wedding. It's playing on tv as we speak presented with limited commercial interruptions (score!). I just think this move is absolutely hilarious. I'm not one for 'mainstream' comedies like Tropic Thunder which I saw this week and I swear did not laugh once in. But stuff like the quote below is priceless.
Toula Portokalos: I had to go to Greek school, where I learned valuable lessons such as, "If Nick has one goat and Maria has nine, how soon will they marry?"
Nobody else catch the funny sarcastic tone? Guess it's just me.
3. Re-reading books that I've already read. Case in point - in the past two days I finished Angels and Demons for the second, or maybe third time. Then, I'm looking forward to my annual read of To Kill a Mockingbird. I don't get much time to read during the school year, so when I do get a chance to read, I gravitate towards old favorites. And once I find a book I like, it just gets put into the rotation so I actually read very few new books. I have the same pattern when it comes to eating out also. Wonder if there is a psychological term for it?
4. And finally, tasty Little Debbie snacks. So reminiscent of childhood - Nutty Bars, Frosted Fudge Cakes, Oatmeal Creme Pies. Perfect little snack or for me, my breakfast of champions since I only like to eat sweet things in small quantities in the morning and nothing else. And for the economical grocery shopper, they are miraculously still the same price as they were like 8 years ago. Even in these tough times, some things will always be the same.

Some guilty pleasures of mine
