Just some random thoughts

There's nothing of particular interest to blog about and there hasn't really been for quite a few days, hence the lack of entries. But I will go ahead and take you through some thoughts I've had this afternoon.

I really enjoy leftover pasta. I've been making large quantities of some sort of pasta concoction about once a week and pack some up for lunch the next day - a highly satisfying practice. Plus, cooking always makes me feel accomplished. Although my main dishes are nothing more than penne with chicken and mushrooms, when it turns out well I feel like I could be Top Chef.

I've developed a new fascination for Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor because I recently watched Catch Me If You Can and The Departed and realized that the man is a genius. I really do think he is the best actor of his generation, with the only other real competition being Heath Ledger and well...RIP.

It's absolutely vital for me to get a haircut - something I've been saying for weeks now and keep putting off. The ends are dead. My 'layers' no longer exist and frankly, it is so long now that I basically look like a walking head of hair. I think subconsciously I may be putting it off because it'll mean the temporary end to picking off my split ends which is the perfect bored activity.

On a final note, I have Vogue to look forward to when I get home.
