When I was a preteen, my friends and I used to write down our happy things in a little book. Mostly they were silly things that made us giggle, but really, it are the small little incidents that make a day complete. Some happy thoughts from today:
- Saw totem pole tattoo man walking up First Avenue today and followed him for half a block. Turns out I'm not the only one fascinated because it seems that EVERYONE on the street was looking at him.
- Eating sugar packets during class.
- The Central Park resevoir at night with the perfect breeze and the city lights nearby. It's absolutely perfect.
- Coming home to freshly baked triple chocolate brownies and finally being able to enjoy them without my throat protesting.
- Having a person in my life who is interested enough to discuss any and every issue imaginable with me.
- Indulging in Gilmore Girls again....my newest guilty pleasure.
- Hot showers.
- Coveting the perfect black pumps at Zara.
- Looking forward to the next day, next week, next month, next year.
